Line Change

Terms of Use

Effective October 15, 2026

The short version. Line Change is a test version made for hockey players. Its numbers are estimates from heart rate, not medical advice. Use it for fun and training insight, and play within your limits.

Using Line Change

By creating an account you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. You need to be 13 or older; players under 18 need a parent's or guardian's permission. Keep your login to yourself, and only connect devices and accounts that are yours.

A test version

Line Change is in a pilot phase. Features may change, break or be removed, and the app may be unavailable at times. We'll try to give notice before anything that affects your data.

Not medical advice

Line Change is not a medical device. Shifts, time on ice, distance, strides, effort, load, recovery and calories are estimates worked out from heart rate and can be wrong. Don't use them to diagnose, treat or manage any health condition. Talk to a doctor before starting or changing training, and stop playing and get help if you feel chest pain, dizziness, faintness or unusual shortness of breath.

Your data

Your data stays yours. You let us store and process it only to run the app for you, as described in the Privacy Policy. You can delete your account and all of it at any time.

Fair use

Don't misuse the app: no attempting to access other players' data, disrupting the service, or using it for anything unlawful. We may suspend accounts that do.

Other services

Polar, Apple Health, Strava and other connected services have their own terms. Line Change isn't affiliated with or endorsed by them.

No warranty and limits

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, Line Change and its operator aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions made based on its estimates.

Ending

You can stop using Line Change and delete your account at any time. We may end the pilot or an account with notice where we can.

Changes and contact

We'll tell you in the app about meaningful changes to these terms. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA. Questions: contact us here.
